It’s disheartening for the WWE Universe not to have Becky Lynch on the Summerslam 2023 match card. She remains one of the biggest names available in the WWE locker room which guarantees her presence whenever any big event arrives. This summer’s biggest spectacle was no different as she was scheduled to feature in the much-anticipated rematch against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
Unfortunately, the match has been taken off the Summerslam 2023 card on a sudden basis. In a surprising announcement by the WWE on the July 31 edition of WWE RAW, Lynch’s rematch against Trish Stratus was rescheduled for the August 14 episode that will take place in the latter’s home country of Canada. But this never stopped the speculations that ran wild regarding the reason behind the alteration.
Rumors had been there for months over Becky Lynch wrapping up her feud against Trish Stratus at SummerSlam 2023 but the sudden decision to move the match to Raw did stir up the pro-wrestling fans. They started inquiry about the top star being in attendance of the grand PLE slated for this weekend, in the first place.

A recent report by PWInsider has confirmed that Becky Lynch is indeed in Detroit, Michigan ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2023. There has been no confirmation of Trish Stratus’ presence in town. Hence, there’s no update on if WWE will show these two women on TV during the PLE to continue the ongoing storyline.
THE MAN did wait for a long time to get her hands on Trish Stratus and she finally got the chance to do it on the August 14 episode of Raw but the match ended in a disqualification due to interference from Zoey Stark. Afterward, WWE Official Adam Pearce announced another encounter between the two wrestling legends. Rather than schedule it for the grand stage of SummerSlam 2023, he announced it from Raw in Toronto, in two weeks.
