The stage is all set for Superstar Spectacle 2023 which is going to be WWE’s first visit to India for a show in about six years. The event is getting big-time attention due to John Cena’s inclusion on the card. For the first time since Wrestlemania 39, The Cenation Leader will perform in a match which also marks his first time performing in the ring in India.

As promoted on social media, the Superstar Spectacle 2023 card will include a match where Rhea Ripley will defend her Women’s World Championship this Friday. It has been announced that The Judgment Day member will put her title on the line against veteran Natalya Neidhart.

Previously, while talking to WWE NIL signees The Cavinder Twins (Haley Cavinder & Hanna Cavinder) on their Twin Talk Podcast, Natalya revealed that she was set to receive yet another opportunity to the Women’s World Championship in India for Superstar Spectacle 2023. That match has now been officially promoted for the India live show that will emanate just a few hours later.

Superstar Spectacle 2023: Reason Becky Lynch Missing Her First WWE India Live Event

During her ongoing title reign, Rhea Ripley has already defended the WWE Women’s World Championship against Natalya twice on television. The top heel of the Raw women’s roster easily overcame the WWE veteran at the Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia and then on WWE Raw in July. During their ongoing storyline, Ripley had also put her belt on the line against Natalya on several WWE house shows in the past few months.

While Superstar Spectacle 2023 will mark Ripley’s next non-televised title defense, her most recent defense came at WWE Payback 2023, where she defeated Raquel Rodriguez via interference from Dominik. The 2023 women’s Royal Rumble winner won the gold by defeating Charlotte Flair on the first night of WrestleMania 39 when the belt used to be known as the Smackdown Women’s Title.
