It’s unfortunate for the WWE Universe that they can’t get to see Taynara Conti on TV, anymore. The Brazilian beauty could have been an asset on TV with her athletic ability but WWE failed to utilize her in a big way before releasing her from the contract, exactly a year ago. Now, she has joined the rival brand to continue with her professional wrestling aspirations.

The AEW Superstar has taken to Twitter, a few hours ago to celebrate the four-year anniversary of her debut match in pro wrestling.

Taynara Conti wrote, “April 1, 2017 I had my first match ever. 4 years since I felt in love with professional wrestling & decided to dedicate my life to that. I’m extremely grateful for every opportunity I get. I have a long way to go & I’m super excited about it !!! IT’S ALL ABOUT THE JOURNEY.”

She participated in trials for the Brazilian Olympic team at the 2016 Summer Olympics before making it to the WWE. During an interview with Ring The Belle, she revealed how she arrived at the world of pro-wrestling,

“(The photographer) asked what if we do a photo shoot in (a judo) kimono,” Conti said. “Then he was like, ‘Let’s do a sexy one,’ and I wanted to do it to piss (off) my ex-boyfriend. When he posted the pictures on his Instagram. He was from France so he had a lot of followers, and WWE found my pictures. They were looking for Brazilian talents. They figured out that I was not just a model, and someone contacted me. I was like, ‘No.’ I didn’t have any idea what it is. To be honest, I thought it was something with like prostitution.”
