While the trio never had or may never have the opportunity to work together in a company, the latter remains grateful for all the inspiration from the former WWE Superstars which ultimately led her to become a professional wrestler.
Anna Jay’s first picked up nag of wrestling from her father
During a recent appearance on Busted Open, Anna Jay revealed her journey in the world of pro wrestling which started with her dad being a fan of the industry. He used to follow the wrestling programs on a weekly basis which also led her to watch those content alongside her brothers,
“My dad was a huge wrestling fan so he would be watching it every week, tuning in, and my brothers — it was kind of a joke — neither of them would sit down and watch it with him, but I would and I loved it. I kept telling my parents every week, ‘This is something I really want to do,’ and surprisingly, they were like, ‘Okay, if you really want to, then you should go for it.'”

Anna Jay was inspired by The Bella Twins
When asked if she had a favorite wrestler growing up, Anna Jay mentioned The Bella Twins as the duo who always motivated her to become a pro wrestler. Coming from an offbeat world, the Bellas conquered the WWE Divas division which indeed inspired the young lady to have some big dreams,
“Yes, The Bella Twins. I know that’s pretty cliche, and I’ve said it every time, but they are really what got me into it and made me think, ‘Okay, if they can do it, I can do it.'” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Moving on in the conversation, Anna Jay also became emotional about making her dad proud with her career in AEW. He’s the basic reason to have pursued this business and now he got to involve even more in prepping up his daughter for the weekly programs in AEW.
Over on this week’s Dynamite, Anna Jay competed in the biggest match of her career, to date which is in the main event of the AEW flagship show. She challenges Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship in a singles contest. Her dad couldn’t be in attendance to witness the match as she lost the opportunity to win the belt and go into AEW All In as the new champion.
