The Bella Twins – Brie and Nikki Bella are officially done with the WWE. They have recently teased ending their tenure with the company after dropping the “Bella” name from their social media handles as those were given by the WWE. Instead, they have listed themselves as Nikki Garcia and Brie Garcia Danielson, which are closer to their real names.
Then The Bella Twins disclosed their departure from WWE in an interview with People. They will now be known as the Garcia Twins, going forward. It was revealed that their contract with the WWE was up for renewal and they decided to give it a pass. Nikki explained that they “just knew it was time to head into this next chapter.”

In a clip from Sirius XM’s YouTube channel, The Bella Twins were found promoting their newly rechristened podcast The Nikki & Brie Show which was previously called The Bellas Podcast. The two former WWE Divas Champions went on to discuss their time spent as the Bellas. Now that they’re moving forward with new characters, they have nothing but gratitude for playing the previous personas given by WWE.

Brie Garcia thanked Brie Bella for everything she has done with the following comments,
“I just wanna thank Brie Bella. Brie Bella, the character that, the name, all of it … I am so excited to close that chapter on Brie Bella, put that book to the side, and open up a new one [to] see what Brie Garcia’s gonna do next.”
The other half of The Bella Twins, Nikki Garcia revisited the days when she used to play the role of Nikki Bella and how much it inspired her on WWE TV,
“I am so beyond grateful for Nikki Bella. She empowered me. She inspired me. She truly made me become fearless. The road that she has paved and what she’s done for women and the youth, [I] will continue to do, just as Nikki Garcia.”
The Bella Twins made their debut in the WWE back in 2008 and went on to become pioneers in the women’s division. Apart from being the former Divas Champions, they started amongst WWE Superstars to feature in reality TV shows. For all their accomplishments in or outside professional wrestling, WWE inducted them into the Hall of Fame in 2020.
