There’s a term in the wrestling circuit that says WWE-lifer and The Bella Twins certainly fell into that category. Despite not being active wrestlers since almost 2016, the duo managed to stay around the company as the global brand ambassador for their popularity and influence on social media. The unthinkable of them paring away with the WWE happened earlier this year.
Heading into the Wrestlemania 39 season, speculations went rife about The Bella Twins possibly being a part of the show since it was emanating from Hollywood. But shocking their WWE fanbase, they let everyone know that they were leaving the brand. Once their contract expired in early spring, they decided not to renew it.

Trish Stratus gives important suggestion to The Bella Twins
Speaking in an interview with ET Canada, the seven-time women’s champion was asked about what advice she would give to The Bella Twins of the WWE since now they’re focused on their family lives. Trish went on to suggest that this is the perfect time for the duo to pursue what they are passionate about in life,
“Now it’s a chance to really pursue what you’re passionate about, right. They [Nikki and Brie Garcia] have families, and I notice that too. Once you start to have families and you have to leave home, you’ve got to make it worthwhile, right?
It’s got to be like fulfilling, it’s got to be something that’s worth leaving the family. And I can see that they’re pursuing projects now, that they’re passionate about and really just like being independent and know that you’re making the success on your own.”
The Bella Twins – Nikki and Brie Bella were with WWE from 2007 until March 2023 after their contracts expired. Originally, they were full-time wrestlers until 2015 after which they went on to focus on their business ventures and other projects on TV to strengthen their brands outside the wrestling promotion outside the wrestling territory. Lately, those TV ventures are off the card for the duo as they’re fully focused on raising their kids with their respective life partners.
