The Bloodline has long been running things in the WWE. With Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the lead and with The Usos backing things up, the family saga drew some of the highest-rated segments on WWE’s weekly TV as well as PPV numbers in the recent past.

However, ties in the WWE are gradually going loose with Roman and The Usos involved in a fallout situation. The Bloodline unity is over and there’s been a battle over who will be ruling the yard in the future. Following Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa are the seeming contenders for the position.

The Bloodline: WWE Has Replacement Figured Out For Top Faction 1

Judgment Day considered to be the successor of The Bloodline in WWE

In the meantime, WWE is aware that The Bloodline storyline can’t go on for a long time and they had possibly figured the replacement for the top faction. WRKD Wrestling recently noted that The Judgment Day storyline could eventually fill in for the top angle on Smackdown. Judgment Day is considered for the spot since their score is pretty good when it comes to drawing TV ratings,

“WWE see Judgement Day as the successor to The Bloodline’s storyline, in terms of fan interest and longevity. The Judgement Day’s segments frequently gain major interest in the quarter-hour ratings and will continue to be a center point of shows moving forward.”

Found by WWE Hall of Famer Edge, The Judgment Day storyline has been going for over a year the stable has seen quite the evolution. There was even a rumor about a supernatural element to be added to the stable, but even without that power, the group is pretty comfortably running things on Raw and NXT. So, it makes sense why they’re being considered the successor of The Bloodline.

In the meantime, Judgment Day gained yet another big achievement on NXT after their success story unfolded on Raw. On the July 18 episode of NXT, Dominik defeated Wes Lee to win the NXT North American Title. With Rhea Ripley possessing the WWE Women’s World Title and Damian Priest in possession of the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase, WWE certainly wants them to be clad in gold much like The Bloodline once used to be. But only time will tell whether Judgment Day finds success in long-term storytelling.
