AEW wasn’t that strict about their wrestlers going badmouth on TV and someone like Saraya might have been thrilled about it. He was under the Vince McMahon territory for a long time in her career in the WWE where a lot of restrictions had to be followed or else there would have been repercussions. Nobody knows it better than her since she was fired twice for violating the company’s wellness policy.

After her official heel turn in AEW, Saraya was given the mic to solidify the character change and Saraya went full-blown over the fans in a March episode. She called the fans “a bunch of neckbeard stinky tw*ts.” The final word was not approved by the producers and broadcasters of the show and there had been fallouts regarding the incident.

Saraya realized her mistake after dropping that bomb and she quickly passed on the microphone, she handed the stick off to Toni Storm to continue their promo but the damage was done already. She was quickly handed a fine. It was not noted how much she was fined but in a tweet, the AEW wrestler herself confirmed the same for dropping that vulgar word on Dynamite.

Saraya was chased by AEW officials for a fine

While speaking to Superstar Crossover, Saraya revealed that she didn’t mean to use slang on Dynamite. But the moment that word slipped out of her, she knew that her promo session on the microphone was over. Then things got even more interesting after she headed backstage following the promo. Apparently, AEW officials had to chase her off to hand the fine.

“I think this is the first time I’ve really cussed on TV. You know what’s really crazy is that even ‘twat’ is a very British thing to say… I’m not trying to drop the C-bomb but twat is a very common word in the U.K. but it’s not part of my vocabulary so I don’t even know why I said it,” Saraya detailed.

“After I cussed, I was like, I’m out. So they have to chase me down for this fine. So I’m getting texts from Toni Storm, Ruby (Soho), Pat Buck, I’m getting texts from the lawyers and stuff and they were just like, ‘We have to call you. You have to stop running away’ so I’m like, ‘I’m already gone. Catch me if you can.’”

This isn’t the first time that Saraya regretted letting something out of her mouth to stir things up. Time and time again, she mentioned not having any bad blood with the WWE but on her very first promo in AEW, she said to have been relieved from a boss who didn’t listen to her. This comment was also something that she admittedly shouldn’t have said as WWE is the reason she’s become the trailblazer.
