Tiffany Stratton emerged as the new holder of the WWE NXT Women’s Championship during the Battleground premium live event, last month. She won a tournament over the title to become the new champion and she’s now being touted as the next cornerstone figure of the women’s division. Last week on WWE NXT, she also successfully went through her first successful title defense.
That being said, the new sensation from the NXT roster is beaming with confidence and that was reflected in her latest interview on a recent episode of the Out Of Character podcast hosted by Ryan Satin. Remembering her earlier struggles in matches on NXT, she had admittedly gone through a major learning experience that enhanced her as a performer on TV.
“I’m Really Proud That I’ve Had The Longevity,” WWE Raw Superstar On Her Body Of Work
Tiffany Stratton claims to be checking every single box
“I just needed to figure out who I am, and I need to formulate a character, and I need to have go-to’s for my promos. I need to figure out my move set, my finish –-I really made sure that I checked every single box, because I really truly do want this and I do want to go far with this. Knowing who I am as well, in real life, really helps too,” stated Tiffany Stratton.

Tiffany Stratton wants to embrace stardom with ease
At the age of just 24 years, Tiffany Stratton could still be having some doubts about pursuing a career as a professional wrestler. Plus, being a newbie in the business who has only signed with WWE Developmental less than two years ago, there could be more directions open for her in the outside world. But the reigning champion had already planned her future in this industry.
Building such a strong female character at such a young age would eventually benefit the WWE as they are nurturing new talents like Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade who are all under 30 and will thus be capable of carrying the company in years to follow. But it’s Tiffany Stratton who built a name for herself in the quickest time and she doesn’t want to put extra pressure on herself.
“I feel like now I don’t need to prove myself to anybody. I don’t need to go out there and you know, do a bunch of crazy things. I just need to go out there and be a star and have a big presence and do my thing. I’m done proving to myself and everybody else that I am worthy of this. I know that I’m worthy of holding this title, and now is the time that I show it,” added Tiffany Stratton. (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
