Toni Storm has tons of experience in wrestling before joining the WWE. She has performed in more than a dozen countries while being just a teenager. Starting at a tender age, her dream was to reach the WWE, one day and now she’s enjoying her dream to the fullest. Currently, WWE assigned her to the Smackdown roster.
Toni Storm had an interesting journey in the WWE. She first debuted through the 2017 Mae Young Classic and went on to become a former NXT UK Women’s Champion. She’s been on the older version of the NXT who had a failed quest of gaining the NXT Women’s championship. During that timespan, the Australian superstar also had to deal with some mental health issues.

Toni Storm recently revealed that her dream match in WWE was to face Natalya. Nattie is someone she looked up to as a child watching wrestling. Both the superstars are also residing on the same brand which makes a full-fledged feud a possibility on WWE TV.

Then in an appearance on the Out of Character podcast hosted by Ryan Satin, the ex SmackDown superstar also revealed when she ultimately found out about joining the Blue Brand and why she didn’t tell anybody about it until she knew for sure that it was going to happen.
“I didn’t know till the day of,” Toni Storm said. “Wrestling is so crazy like that, right? I just feel like everything that’s happened so far, even before I was even here, was like, oh okay, this is happening. [It’s] so exciting, an adrenaline rush all the time.”
“I didn’t really know what to do. I just fluffed around. I don’t want to talk about it in case it doesn’t happen. I didn’t really say much. I didn’t get my hopes up or anything, this is like the ultimate goal, my life dream, so hearing about it, I’ll believe it when I see it. Toni Storm also proceeded to mention that he had only a couple of conversations with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon who has the last say on the main roster. Plus, the superstar was very much excited to execute the edited version of her Storm Zero maneuver on TV. Apparently, she also had fun with this new finisher.
“I’ve got a new finisher and so far, I’ve only done it to Zoey Stark and Zelina Vega. I’m having fun with the new one. i can’t wait to hit it on Charlotte Flair and everybody else. I got it from my coach in England, Dean Allmark, who’s been an absolute just great mentor, great coach.”
Toni Storm had her sights set on Charlotte Flair and her Smackdown Women’s Championship. She had a failed opportunity back on the Christmas Eve edition of Smackdown which eventually marked her final match in the company.
