One of the globally known female superstars of professional wrestling, Toni Storm will debut on the main roster. During her stint on WWE NXT, she wasn’t able to do anything special, so far but she was always considered to be a tailor-made talent for the big league of Raw or Smackdown. Since the blue brand is suffering from a lack of star power, the latest inclusion may just allow bringing some fresh vibes to the scene.
A teaser vignette for Toni Storm aired during this week’s SmackDown on FOX episode. There’s no confirmation available on when she will debut, but the vignette said she will be coming soon to the blue brand. It should be noted that the Australian Superstar won’t be competing on the main roster show, for the first time.
Toni Storm first started working with WWE in June 2017 as she participated in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament. She then signed a contract with the company in May 2018 and ended up winning the Mae Young Classic 2nd edition at Evolution in October 2018. Afterward, WWE started her utilizing for the NXT UK brand, later that year.

After working with the NXT UK brand starting from the summer of 2018, Toni Storm went on to capture the NXT UK Women’s Title at NXT UK “Takeover: Blackpool” in January 2019, by defeating current RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Storm would later work the WWE Survivor Series and Royal Rumble pay-per-view. She then headed into an 8-month hiatus and returned to the main NXT brand in October 2020.
Toni Storm had some failed attempts to capture the NXT Women’s Title on a couple of occasions alongside a couple of feuds on the Wednesday night show which didn’t bring any major impact. This past Monday on Raw, she worked in a dark match, defeating the returning Tegan Nox. Her last TV match on NXT happened on May 18, a win over new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark.
As we await Toni Storm’s entry to the main roster, this week’s Smackdown also saw Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart make their main roster debuts. They are now billed as just Nox and Shotzi.
