Dean Ambrose cashes in on Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank 2016
Perhaps the most exciting moment in the history of Money in the Bank was created by Dean Ambrose as he screwed Seth Rollins (seeking redemption for breaking up The Shield a year ago) from his world championship reign. In his first match back in the WWE since November 2015, Rollins defeated Roman Reigns to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Yet to be done with his victory celebration, Ambrose came out as a ghost and hit him with the MITB briefcase to send the fans into a frenzy. Within a few seconds, Ambrose pinned Rollins with the Dirty Deeds, became the new kingpin of the WWE, and overcame having The Shield’s third-wheel tag. Also, it was a night when the three members of The Shield held the same world championship, separately.
