WrestleMania storylines begin much earlier in comparison to other pay-per-view events.
It’s the biggest event of the year which needs long-term angles so that a proper culmination can be arranged matching up to the hypes.
Brock Lesnar’s opponent revealed for WM36
The prime superstars from the Raw and SmackDown brands are booked in a way leading to these marquee matches.
Why did the Undertaker not leave after WM30?
The next edition of WrestleMania takes place on April 5th, 2020 and some of the big matches on the card are getting nurtured around the creative team.
As per the current planning, these are the potential matches that could eventually become the show-stealers. Here are these five encounters that may become headliners for the ‘show of shows’ in due course,
Bayley vs. Sasha Banks – SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Sasha Banks vs. Bayley feud back at NXT and the match at TakeOver: Brooklyn will always remain as a benchmark which is why the fans wanted to see these two feuding, even on the main roster.
For a couple of occasions, WWE started the program too only to close it without a proper end. Early rumours have already suggested that Sasha was inserted into SmackDown roster just because these two can go at each other at the biggest stage of WrestleMania.
These don’t appear as a surprise since they are also two prime names carrying the blue brand and a clash seems imminent at one point.
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns – Universal Championship Match
The two biggest names of SmackDown roster are The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns who have reportedly been booked for the WrestleMania 36 main event match.
Reigns picked up the win at Survivor Series on behalf of Team SmackDown which marked the beginning of a push leading all the way towards the biggest event in April.
The Fiend, on the other hand, will remain undefeated till then to receive the franchise player as his opponent in a bout that would be billed as the biggest fight of the upcoming season.
Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey – RAW Women’s Championship Match
Ronda Rousey is yet to lock horns with Becky Lynch in a singles contest despite having a long-term rivalry with her.
If speculations are any indications then this match will go down at WrestleMania 36 with Rousey patiently waiting for a return.

Becky is likely to retain her championship until WrestleMania 36 whereas Rousey will make comeback around Royal Rumble.
She could also win the prestigious match just to set up this match at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens – WWE Championship Match
Brock Lesnar is also touted to have a lengthy title reign that should remain intact until WrestleMania.
Being the bonafide heel, he must compete against the prime babyface figure of the WWE.
With Seth Rollins turning heel, Kevin Owens is the most over superstar from the Raw roster that automatically makes him the most valid opponent for the beast incarnate at WrestleMania 36.
CM Punk vs. Triple H
CM Punk returning to in-ring competition is not confirmed. Bur fans seemed to be pretty excited about it and consider that he will be on the match card of the show.
The potential opponent is obviously Triple H since he shared a beef with Punk. Back at WrestleMania 30, these two were actually scheduled to go into a fight before Punk decided to leave.
Now that he’s coming back, it would be fitting that he resumes career against The Boss at WrestleMania.
