CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy (Summerslam 2009)
This year’s Summerslam was filled up with classics like Cena vs. Orton, DX vs. The Legacy and then there was Punk battling Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Championship in a TLC match. Jeff was scheduled to defend his title with the belt hanging high above the ring. It was a heart-stopping action between the two of the most athletic superstars in the WWE history. Hardy tried with all he had but got cut by Punk who was going to be the next big superstar for the company starting from that point. Punk captured the title after sending Hardy off from the ladder. After the match, the bell tolled and the lights went out to give us a glimpse of the Undertaker. Taker choke-slammed Punk to make a statement and claim the championship back, afterwards.
