Finn Balor and his Judgment Day buddies have been running things on WWE Raw for the past year or so. Shredding WWE Hall of Famer Edge despite being the founding figure of the group was the best move as considered by the critics as names like Dominik, Rhea Ripley or Damian Priest could really flourish as future star powers.

The same can’t be stated for the so-called leader of the group, Finn Balor. After spending so many years on WWE Raw and Smackdown, his win-loss statistics have only become worse with time. When it comes to 2023, the losing percentage decreased unexpectedly reaching the career lowest position.

Despite Judgment Day’s dominance on WWE Raw, fans do feel that Finn Balor hasn’t been floundering much as a singles competitor. That’s again been proved according to an in-depth stat provided by Cagematch as he has a loss percentage of 79.6 in 2023. He has lost 43 out of his 54 matches so far this year. This comes as a total contrast of his beginning career where he had 83% wins in both 2015 and 2016.

Finn Balor only got demoted in his WWE Raw career over the years

After proving himself as one of the pioneer figures of the NXT brand, Finn Balor arrived on WWE Raw in 2016 and in his first match on the show, he defeated Roman Reigns via clean pinfall. That amazing accolade also led him to become the inaugural champion. But the title reign lasted for just 24 hours due to an injury and that also marked the downfall of his WWE career.

Finn Balor is a former 2-time NXT Champion who indeed had a phenomenal run to be remembered as one of the most significant names on WWE’s third brand. However, neither of his main roster runs on WWE Raw proved to be memorable at all. It’s also being assumed that such a track record would lead him to an early exit from WWE.

While speaking on Writing with Russo, former WWE writer Vince Russo criticized Finn Balor’s booking on WWE Raw and stated that he believes that The Prince should be demoted to NXT for not drawing people or numbers,

“Bro, can we just be totally honest here? Finn should be in NXT. Bro, he’s not gonna draw three people in WWE. Come on, it is what it is.”
