Asuka is one of the critically acclaimed members of the WWE Raw women’s division when it comes to pure wrestling. After her initial days on the main roster, she got to unravel herself to the next level during the pandemic when she carried the division. Before, she also had a successful career in Japan before joining the WWE. Now, it could be time for her to step aside from the company.

Asuka lost at WrestleMania 39 despite her best efforts and now it seems that she has teased leaving WWE and returning to her roots in Japan. This comes after a fan took to Twitter and pointed out an unfortunate record (Asuka is yet to win a match at the Show of Shows) held by the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion.

Asuka saw the tweet and replied to it. Interestingly she teased leaving WWE and returning to Japan. She also called the WWE Raw Women’s Division boring and wanted to change things up for good measures in her below comments,

“I might as well go back to Japan… But I bet a lot of you guys my friends will miss me when I leave WWE? Now I need the power of your anger. Let’s bring chaos to the boring Women’s Division with me? Let’s bring chaos to the Women’s Division, let’s bring chaos to the WWE!”

At WrestleMania 39, Bianca Belair defeated the 2023 Elimination Chamber match winner Asuka to continue her year-long reign as the WWE Raw Women’s Champion. With that Belair also left Asuka with a 0-5 record at WrestleMania. Her match outcomes at the Show of Shows are given below,

WrestleMania 34 – Lost to Charlotte Flair in a SmackDown Women’s Championship match
WrestleMania 35 – Lost the Women’s Battle Royal on the Kickoff Show
WrestleMania 36 – Lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
WrestleMania 37 – Lost the RAW Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley
WrestleMania 39 – Lost to Bianca Belair in a RAW Women’s Championship match

Keeping Asuka’s momentums in mind on the Road to Wrestlemania 39, many guessed that the Empress of Tomorrow would be the one to end Belair’s dominant run with the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Asuka was pushed heavily since returning at the 2023 Royal Rumble as she won the Chamber Match. But in the end, The EST of WWE reigned supreme making Asuka’s record even worse.
