Kayla Braxton has become one of the most popular figures of WWE Raw/WWE Smackdown broadcasts in recent times, much like what Renee Young used to be for WWE programming, back in the day. Without her charming presence, the discussion panels before or after a WWE event seem void. However, there’s still one top-brass superstar on the roster who would willingly ignore a request of partying with her.
This weekend’s WWE Backlash 2023 premium live event took place at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and in one of the top matches, Austin Theory (c) defeated Bronson Reed & Bobby Lashley to retain his United States Championship in a Triple Threat Match and keep the title on the WWE Smackdown brand.
Once the match was over, the mid-card champion from the WWE Smackdown roster had to catch up with Kayla Braxton, backstage for an interview. During the session, Austin Theory made it clear that he was about to go party in San Juan so that people can finally appreciate him.

Being a dynamic WWE personality, Braxton shares a good relationship with almost everyone on the roster (except for Pau Heyman). Hence, she told Austin Theory that she wanted to come with him to partying in San Juan but the champion clearly no-sold that request. Braxton said that he will eventually have to let her come with him because they both now belong to the WWE SmackDown roster.

During that same interview, the WWE Smackdown Superstar also claimed that he’s become the greatest United States Champion of all time,
“Look at the timeline I’ve been on as United States Champion. I beat up the ‘Rated-R Superstar’ Edge, let’s not forget that. I dominated the Elimination Chamber. I beat the ‘GOAT’ John Cena… and tonight, once again, big Bob Lashley got dropped again, but what’s new about that?”
Since unsuccessfully cashing in his Money In The Bank contract on Seth Rollins last year over the United States Title, Theory has witnessed his rise to the occasion as a mid-card superstar on WWE’s main roster. Around Wrestlemania, he picked up wins against Legends like Edge and John Cena and now, this week on WWE Smackdown, he will also take part in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament.
