Just two years ago, WWE used Triple H to be the main attraction of the Survivor Series. He led Team Raw to victory which appeared to be a clean sweep on behalf of his team.
This man has always been a trustworthy shoulder for the company when it comes to bigger PPV events. Who knows if the upcoming November 24th show is going to be another one or not.
RAW vs. SmackDown vs. NXT will take place this Sunday at Survivor Series 2019. Triple H has been an active member of this buildup as he led Team NXT to the main roster shows in the past few weeks.
No Holds Barred announced for Survivor Series
This has fuelled up speculation whether The Game could be a participant of the upcoming tradition tag team elimination match, itself.
As of this writing, teams from NXT for both men’s & women’s traditional Survivor Series elimination matches haven’t been disclosed.
Raw and SmackDown have declared their teams alongside the Team Captains whereas NXT remains the exception. Sources say that it’s because WWE officials are still trying to figure out who should be on NXT’s teams.
Randy Orton takes shot at AEW owner
According to WrestleVotes, WWE Creative Team wants Triple H to be wrestle as a member of the NXT’s men’s team at Survivor Series 2019.
But there have been mixed reactions with this idea including “The Game” himself who doesn’t want to compete on the show. Here’s more from the source,
“Hearing that over the past few weeks there has been a push from creative to have Triple H as a member of Team NXT in the men’s elimination match.
That idea has been met with mixed reactions, including that of The Game. I’m told he does NOT want to be part of the match this Sunday.”
NXT will air the go-home episode for Survivor Series on this Wednesday night which may have surprise in-store in the form of Raw and SmackDown invasion angles.
There will also be a big question heading into the show as to whether Triple H will be competing on that night.
Technically, The Game may not get an appropriate spot like this to represent his own NXT brand. But he loves to give the spotlight to youngsters, at this point and not himself.
