WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has found her way back to competition in the WWE although she retired in 2019. She was again factored into a WrestleMania match. After returning to help out Becky Lynch and real-life best friend Lita, a dream tag team match at WrestleMania 39 was set up. The speculation is that this storyline will introduce singles contests down the road.
With that, it’s safe to say that Trish Stratus and her current stay in WWE is likely to be extended so that she could stick around a little bit longer after the big match in Los Angeles. However, the legend herself wasn’t that much worried about the long-term thought.
WWE Summerslam 2023: Trish Stratus To Compete In A Dream Match?
While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Trish Stratus opened up about the latest return to WWE. She was inquired about the possibility of whether fans will see her in action more than once during this stint. It seems that she is busy with several other projects at this moment. But if given the right opportunities, she won’t oppose to the idea to wrestle more.
“Let’s see what’s going to happen,” Trish Stratus said. “I’m a judge on ‘Canada’s Got Talent’ as you know and my businesses and my baby … There’s all these things to consider. It’s a different — I have to go train, you know, at nighttime … I can’t do this as a full-time job right now because there are other jobs as well.”

Trish Stratus originally retired after enjoying a successful stint
Trish Stratus is no more capable of squaring off in matches like a regular roster member. She’s the mother of two kids and also owns a yoga business in Canada. Also, being a popular name on the circuit as well as on the mainstream circuit, she keeps on getting invitations to different projects. However, that never stopped her from returning home to the WWE.
The last time Trish Stratus competed in a high-profile match was more than three years ago at SummerSlam in a dream match against Charlotte Flair and came up short. However, the performance from the 46-year-old left the fans stunned. Since this match took place in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she was happy to announce her retirement.
Since her original retirement in 2006 as the reigning WWE Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus has made only a handful of appearances. After enjoying a seven-year in-ring career with the WWE, she ended it while being a record-setting seven-time women’s champion to set up a legacy as perhaps the greatest performer in WWE history. The path laid by her contemporary Lita set up the Women’s Evolution that began in the last decade.
