Trish Stratus delivered a shocker to the WWE Universe as she turned heel on Becky Lynch last week during Raw. There have been rumors about this character change for her for a long time and it finally happened on WWE TV. Now, it turns out that WWE is having some long-term booking in this storyline which should produce a match at the biggest event of the year.
The MAN along with the WWE Universe is therefore set to get a dose of Stratusfaction for weeks to follow which may turn out to be a pleasing thing, after all. The Post-WrestleMania season should have the presence of the WWE Hall of Famer throughout.

At WrestleMania 39, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles were not defended but they were eventually put up for grabs this week on Raw. One-half of the champions, Lita was taken out by a backstage attack during the show. Trish Stratus was then named as her replacement as she teamed up with Becky Lynch and defended the tag titles against the team of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez but they remained unsuccessful.

Liv Morgan pinned Trish Stratus to score the victory for her team and thereby capture the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Liv dodged a Chick Kick from her idol and got the win via a roll-up which was a dream win for her. After the match, the unthinkable happened when the former champions were supposed to have a recuperating time.
As Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus had some words with each other, the two hugged it out. Shortly after that, Lynch turned to leave the ring when Trish Stratus turned on her and took her down with a Chick Kick to solidify the heel turn. When asked about her actions, she didn’t want to necessarily talk about it in a backstage interview but rather left the building.
Now the question remains when these two would finally have a match, a dream contest for the fans between the two generational WWE Superstars. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch will indeed have a match but that won’t happen until SummerSlam 2023,
“Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus are scheduled to wrestle at SummerSlam.”
SummerSlam will go down in Detroit’s Ford Field on August 5, 2023, and it appears WWE already has a marquee match planned for the show from the women’s division. Now, on Raw, we can expect to get the ongoing storyline unfolded, each week.
