WWE Raw kicked off on a predicted note. Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre showed up to the ring to cut a promo. The Shield interrupted them to seek redemption, and they did claim some until the heels backed out.
The reactions towards them were decent. But it is worth to note that the crowd is not booing much Roman Reigns, as they used to do even a few weeks ago. The Shield reuniting showed some positive effects, at least.
The opening contest of WWE Raw between Nikki Bella and Ruby Riott was also a fun match. There might be haters for Nikki Bella considering she belongs to the so-called Diva category. But attention from the crowd with her being in the ring is worth to watch. They always remain reacting to the former champion, unlike the other random women’s roster matches. It is the reason why Nikki might end up having the main event of Evolution.
Ziggler and McIntyre retained their WWE Raw tag team championship which was inevitable. They have already proved to be dominant heel champions. Moving forward from The B-team, they have now received a solid matchup at Hell in a Cell. Rollins and Ambrose will challenge them for the titles on Sunday’s PPV event. It should be a physical matchup between the bitter rivals.

Ronda Rousey competed in her second matchup on WWE Raw. It turned out to be an average match on the show. Natalya has become a stiff wrestler these days probably due to her growing age. The match did not pick up until Ronda entered the matchup. Her quick judo moves were worth to watch on the show that handed her another big win.

Roman Reigns showed up on the final segment of WWE Raw to have a brawl against Braun Strowman. He desperately needed some momentums by his side for the championship match on this Sunday night. Well, he got it via a superman punch and a Samoan Drop through the commentary table. He was able to put down the monster for a significant amount of time. It is a sign of chaotic things that are in-store for us at the Hell in a Cell PPV.
The buildup towards Hell in a Cell was a good one on WWE Raw, overall. Check out the Twitter reactions, here.
