Twitter Reactions From This Week’s WWE Raw: August 27, 2018 1

WWE Raw opened on a big note from Toronto. The headliner confrontation between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman was part of the opening segment. It set up the Hell in a Cell match between these two behemoths. The audience would see these two fighting each other in a brand new environment. We should note Toronto’s reaction towards Roman Reigns. Be it boos, it was louder than ever.

The show lacked a bit in the next few segments. We have seen enough of Corbin and Balor filler matches. This bored the Toronto crowd to a big extent after which Seth Rollins took WWE Raw over. His match against Kevin Owens over the Intercontinental Championship was the best of the night. Owens pulling off a Stone Cold Stunner was the highlight of the match!

In the end, Rollins retained and Kevin Owens decided to quit WWE Raw. We are not sure why it happened but it is seemingly a storyline angle for the Prizefighter. The acting GM of the show should address this on next week’s edition, for sure. Meanwhile, The Revival pinned The B-Team to get another chance to WWE Raw tag team titles. We hope the nightmare run of the current champions should end as early as possible.

Trish Stratus got her homecoming on WWE Raw in an entertaining segment. No one plays with the crowd better than Elias. But last night she received a reward for this from the returnee in form of a slap! It was also a dream moment to see Ronda Rousey and Natalya sharing the stage alongside the WWE Hall of Famer inside the ring.

The main event did not really pick up on WWE Raw. Rather we have seen the shocking heel-turn from Braun Strowman by the end of the night. He made an ally with Ziggler and McIntyre to make Roman Reigns his victim. Even The Shield suffered these three’s wrath in the closing moments. Well, it made the trio stronger than ever on the flagship show. They could produce viable competition against WWE Raw in future.

Overall it was a good continuation of last week’s WWE Raw. Here are the Twitter reactions from it,
