Twitter Reactions From The WWE Survivor Series 2017 PPV

Last night, the 30th annual Survivor Series PPV was hosted at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The never-before-seen-bout between Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles was the headliner of the night alongside the traditional tag team elimination match from the men’s division. Bigger names were inserted into the contest to make it a must-watch night.
The opening match remained a solid one between The New Day and The Shield. They received a plenty of times in the match and made the most out of it. The crowd was on their feet all the time for this matchup as the trio from Raw picked up the expected win against The Unicorns.
In the traditional tag team match for the women, Asuka was the sole Survivor from Team Raw. The Empress of Tomorrow is picking up the momentum by her side, gradually after debuting and this victory will come handy for her, no doubt.
Asuka is looking better and better week by week since her lackluster debut last month against Emma. They’re making her seem dominant and unbeatable. Great performance from her. As for the rest of the match, not bad. A botch on the Fox elimination, but nothing big. #SurvivorSeries

The match between Miz and Corbin was quite weird considering that they both were heels. But, the tag team champion vs. champion matchups was a solid one between The Bar and The Usos. The veterans stole the show that followed up with a decent match from the women’s champions.
It was a cakewalk for the Universal Champion at Survivor Series PPV as he picked up an easy win on AJ Styles. The match under-delivered to a big extent despite efforts from both of them.
Overall this was probably one of the most well built PPVs of the year, and it didn’t disappoint. I’m sure some will argue that the NXT show was better (haven’t seen it yet), but if you hated this show, you hate fun and you shouldn’t watch the product anymore. #SurvivorSeries

In the end, it was an incredible scene as all the who’s who of the WWE had a confrontation before the beginning of the traditional tag match. It witnessed several mark-out moments but the closing moment was unreal as Triple H hit Kurt Angle with a pedigree. Things were unexpected as Strowman then hit Triple H with two running powerslams to close the PPV on a higher note. Check out the Twitter reactions from the show, here:
