Smackdown Live kicked off with the most unpredicted news of a new general manager being hired for the show. The crowd was delighted to know that Paige was the new GM replacing the former name, Daniel Bryan.
This was a good decision from the WWE officials as she can give a major booster to the ratings of the show is utilized properly.
There’s no doubt that her worldwide popularity will enrich the show to a big extent.
Great opening segment. Love that Paige is the new GM on #SDLive, it does change it up and I can see them doing great things with her as General Manager. Big match announced for later tonight, Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles! Wow!

The two following matches on the show was not much hyped up with repeated lineups. We have seen The New Day vs. The Usos for endless times.
So, there was nothing new in it. The win for the latter mentioned team was also much predicted. The following match between Naomi and Natalya was a bore-fest for the fans.
WWE really needs to introduce something new for them.
Great way of debuting the Iconic Duo and an excellent way of finally having Carmella cash in her Money in the Bank. After weeks of teasing, they finally had her cash it in and win. Everyone comes out of this looking strong, even Charlotte. #SDLive

The next segment featuring Charlotte Flair was electric. The debut of the Iconic Duo on the Smackdown Live roster was expected for a long time.
It happened in a surprising manner as they kept on their heel gimmick and beat the hell out of the Queen.
This paved the way for the Miss Money in the Bank to cash-in her contract, big-time which received huge cheers from the crowd.
Entertaining triple threat match but not happy with the result. We’ve gotten Orton and Mahal too many times now. Would have preferred Rusev wins as I think the entertainment value in a feud between he and Mahal could be huge. Lots of potential there but Orton it is. #SDLive

The triple threat match for the United States Championship contender’s spot was much entertaining one.
Although the audience loves to see Rusev on the title picture, it did not happen.
Perhaps, a heel vs. heel scenario is not something the official do want. Also, a possible shift for the Bulgarian Brute from Smackdown to Raw is coming up, next week.
A great match between AJ and Daniel Bryan but a predictable finish with Nakamura getting involved. I wonder if they’ll send Bryan to Raw or keep him on #SDLive and have him involved in this feud.
— Wrestleview.com (@wrestleview) April 11, 2018
The main event of Smackdown between Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles was an epic with another predictable finish. There’s no way that we were getting a definite result to a dream match like this in an impromptu way.
Hence, Nakamura interfering the match was pretty much certain. This continued the rivalry between Styles and Nakamura, going forward.
A solid episode of #SDLive and for me one of the best in a long, long time. A great main event, a new Women’s champion via cash in, Paige as the new GM and a few fun matches. Looking forward to the superstar shake up next week.

Congrats @CarmellaWWE!! Had a chance to chat with (former?) Ms. Money in the Bank this #WrestleMania weekend and I really enjoyed our (mostly silly) chats! Looking forward to what’s next, no doubt she’s well on her way to a #fabulous career! #andnew #sdlive pic.twitter.com/syVRfyz0Go

Both Japanese Royal Rumble winners lost at Wrestlemania. How did they both handle it?
Asuka – Class, dignity & praise for Charlotte
Nakamura – Is out to ruin AJ’s testicles for life#SDLive

I just got to see Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles with interference from Nakamura killing them both. Anyone who has a complaint about this, needs to find a new hobby. Brilliant stuff #SDLive

So the house belongs to Paige, the house was built by AJ, and Roman owns the yard? What kind of real estate madness is going on here? #SDLive

It still amazes me how WWE somehow does not understand how much of a star they have in Rusev. #SDLive
