The potential main event of Clash of Champions has become official on last night’s WWE Raw. In a backstage segment of the show, Braun Strowman clearly opened up on being focused to pick up the Universal Champion. Seth Rollins accepted the challenge, right away to set up the next title match for the red-strapped belt. WWE officially announced Strowman will challenge Rollins for the belt that the latter one recaptured at Summerslam.

Will The Undertaker Be Part Of Clash Of Champions PPV?
But that is not the only match set for Clash of Champions for these two superstars. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman are also the WWE Raw tag team champions which is why they will have to put the belts on the line in a separate match. A Tag Team Turmoil match happened on WWE Raw featuring teams like Heavy Machinery, The Revival, The B Team, The Lucha House Party, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, The Viking Raiders, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson with the condition that the winner will become new number one contenders to the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles. Ziggler and Rollins pinned the Heavy Machinery for the win to earn a title shot at the upcoming PPV event.
Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman were reportedly on a collision course on WWE Raw for quite sometimes. As Clash of Champions is approaching, insider scoops indicated that these two will collide for the Universal Championship at the PPV event. Furthermore, the Monster among Men was clear about being jealous of The Architect holding the Universal title.

As we thought that WWE was about to insert these two into the championship picture, they became partners. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman became WWE Raw tag team champions defeating the OCs on last week’s WWE Raw main event. This made the situation interesting as well as unpredictable for the audience. Heading into the show, this week, WWE.com predicted we are about to have a big fallout,
“Although Braun Strowman clearly has his eyes locked on Seth Rollins’ Universal Championship, The Monster Among Men and The Beastslayer proved to be a strong team this past Monday night on Raw, conquering Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to become Raw Tag Team Champions despite the attempted intervention of United States Champion AJ Styles. What’s next for this strange-but-successful pairing, and how will The O.C. respond to their defeat?”
There were no such altercations between the champion and the challenger on the show as it turned out to be a smooth setup to the title clash. But they will have to compete in two separate occasions at Clash of Champions. This makes the Universal champion’s job tougher than before.
