Brandi Rhodes has not competed inside the ring since January of this year. Back then she used to be in the AEW but things changed within a few weeks. One month removed, in February she along with her husband, Cody Rhodes opted to leave the company. A few weeks later, the latter arrived at the WWE at the biggest stage of Wrestlemania.

Since his return, Cody has been projected as one of the top superstars of the Raw roster and this led the fans to think that Brandi Rhodes could also be WWE-bound now that she’s done with her pregnancy hiatus. Amid all those rumors, she recently shared an update regarding her future in the ring.

Going by her comments, it appears that whatever the updates have circulated around her in recent times, she has no plans to step back into the squared circle. Brandi Rhodes recently appeared on the Ten Count Podcast, where she spoke to Steve Fall about her intentions of doing something non-wrestling in the future rather than lacing up her boots,

“I’m the one that’s very big in the family on not saying absolutes. I will say right now it’s not in my plan. I kind of did myself a good service, I think, in taking a beat. My number one priority when everything happened and you know, we left AEW,” she continued, “my number one priority in all of that was making sure that my husband’s dream was realized … I do have some cooking in the non-wrestling world.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

As noted above, Brandi Rhodes has not stepped inside a wrestling ring as a competitor since January 31, 2022, that was during an episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. Her husband Cody Rhodes found his way back to WWE at WrestleMania 39. While she was found backstage with Cody, she never signed a contract with the company.

Previously when Brandi Rhodes was employed by the company, she worked as a ring announcer under the name of Eden Stiles. Back in that first stint, she only wrestled one match during a 2011 FCW show that was in a battle royal. Moving on from WWE, she had a substantial in-ring career in AEW that could have been extended but that’s currently unsure.
