She started on a high note after training at the WWE Performance Center at a point when NXT started to touch the high nodes. But unfortunately, a few injuries halted her career in a big way.
At present, Nikkita Lyons is out of the WWE in-ring competition for a long time due to similar injury reasons. Back in September, she announced on social media that her comeback was on the way, and she did so with a twerking video. She has also replied to speculations on her return from the “soon” comment which raised hopes for her fanbase.

Ringside News recently reached out to ask about the reality around Nikkita Lyons and her impending return on NXT and they were informed by a tenured member of the creative team that she still remains in an injured state, “that’s all that’s known about her.”
At this time, there’s no news of her NXT return let alone any discussions for her to make a jump to Raw or SmackDown. The stale situation was described simply as a situation where she remains someone unable to compete inside the squared circle.

As seen on the January 24, 2023 episode of NXT, Nikkita Lyons was mysteriously taken out inside the notorious parking lot of the WWE Performance Center. The person behind the kayfabe attack is yet to be revealed while in reality, she has been dealing with a torn MCL which forced her to undergo surgery before entering the recovery process.
Thus, it’s been almost ten months since Nikkita Lyons was written off NXT television. Being very active on social media, she has kept fans updated about her injury with several posts. Away from the ring, she was also seen in a photoshoot with Tiffany Stratton who dropped her NXT Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in September.
After Nikkita Lyons was attacked at the WWE PC parking lot, Zoey Stark was supposed to be the person behind it. But since then Stark has been called out to the main roster as the protégé of Trish Stratus and a possible feud with The Lioness isn’t expected at this point.
