Roman Reigns is literally untouchable in the WWE, at this point who hasn’t lost a match in almost two years. He’d overcome all the opponents that Smackdown top-tier could have offered at him. Now The Beast Incarnate will be waiting for him at the Crown Jewel 2021 PPV event. But that doesn’t really mean that his title run is in jeopardy.

As reported earlier, Wrestling News noted that Roman Reigns is currently the top merchandise seller for WWE. The Universal Champion is said to be the all-time top merchandise mover among top heel wrestlers in WWE history.

The source also noted that The Tribal Chief’s merchandise sales are at the level of John Cena (the biggest merch-mover in the WWE). Things are even more impressive because Cena sold a ton of merchandise as a babyface, while Roman Reigns is doing the same as a despised heel. This means his acceptance as a villain on TV is still great among the audience.

Roman Reigns not losing his title, anytime soon

Now that merchandise moving is something huge in the WWE for the officials from a marketing perspective, WWE won’t be ruining the momentums of their top superstar. That being said a report from Wrestling INC claims the rumor mill has it that Roan Reigns won’t drop the Universal Title anytime, soon. He was previously speculated to enter Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas, Texas as the champion.

At this point, the reigning champion is also the betting favorite to defeat Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel 2021 and retain his belt. Thereafter, he is likely to face either Big E or Drew McIntyre at WWE Survivor Series 2021 in another big match.

Update On Roman Reigns And His WWE Universal Championship Reign 2

On a recent episode of his weekly Hall of Fame podcast, the 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T talked about Roman Reigns’ current run as the WWE Universal Champion, and the 400-day landmark that he’s surpassed. Booker also picked two guys who may defeat him to win that gold,

“I always say with moments, you only get a chance to have it one time and it goes away pretty much as far as these kind of situations. Undertaker’s streak being broken, stuff like that.

For me, you look at Brock Lesnar. Could he be the guy? Of course. But for me, I’m looking to make somebody. I’m looking to make somebody in big fashion, in a huge way. And there again, man I look at that kid WALTER and I say he’s a star. He’s what wrestling is today.”
