Roman Reigns is the biggest draw that WWE has on their card who is capable of selling out a show, single-handedly. Depending on that, WWE had a number of successful events over the past few years during his ongoing championship reign. However, that good time could soon be over given the fact that the top superstar is transitioning to a part-time schedule.
Roman Reigns has long been working with a part-time schedule which makes him a marquee attraction for the WWE. In a recent instance, WWE falsely advertised him for a live event at Fayetteville and that forced the show to get quickly sold. However, he was then pulled out of the show affirming that his part-time schedule continues.

Roman Reigns’ schedule to become even lighter
According to insider source BoozerRasslin, Roman Reigns is scheduled to work even fewer WWE events in the near future since he’s prepping up to move into a Hollywood career much like John Cena. Even, WWE CEO Nick Khan has publicly said in recent interviews that WWE supports these Hollywood aspirations which benefits the WWE brand in the long run as their players could garner major mainstream attention.

Roman Reigns to appear less in WWE after Summerslam 2023
In more updates to the situation, Xero News is reporting that Roman Reigns’ schedule will eventually become lighter after SummerSlam 2023. It may not be a complete hiatus, but he will be around WWE programming, quite less in comparison to recent times.
The good thing is that the Head of the Table is still scheduled to work the Crown Jewel PLE in Saudi Arabia in October and then the Survivor Series PLE in November. It was also noted that his schedule should become more full time-ish on the road to WrestleMania 40 starting in the early phase of next year.
Summerslam 2023: Spoiler On A Huge Championship Change At WWE PLE
As reported earlier, Roman Reigns signed a new deal with the WWE after WrestleMania 38 in 2022, which saw him working a limited schedule, similar to Brock Lesnar. Interestingly, that happened even after he captured both the top world titles in the WWE and became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at last year’s Show of Shows.
It was the part-time schedule, due to which many thought that Roman Reigns was going to lose the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39, but he ultimately defeated Cody Rhodes to retain his belt via help from The Bloodline.
