As one of the major surprises of Wrestlemania 39, Shane McMahon was brought back to WWE TV. However, his comeback on night two of WWE’s biggest event of the year ended before it could even begin as he ended up suffering a legit injury. However, he’s back in training sessions and that wasn’t the last time that we have seen the highly agile athlete on TV.

Shane McMahon returned at WrestleMania 39 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California after a one-year-long hiatus as The Miz’s mystery opponent. But during the first spot in the ring, while doing a leap-frog, he landed badly and tore his quad in the ring. He couldn’t continue the match and as a result, WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg had to pin The Miz to end the segment.

The good thing is that Vince McMahon’s 53-year-old son wouldn’t go down in his career with a tragic moment like that. During a recent episode of ‘Mailbag Monday’ on AdFreeShows, old school WWF referee Mike Chioda revealed that Shane McMahon has a tough mindset and he’s already prepping up to be back in the ring.

Chioda affirmed that Shane McMahon will be back for another match, as soon as he’s done with the recovery process,

“Shane O’Mac will be back in that ring, brother. He’s working out hard right now. He’s gonna be back. I wish him a speedy recovery. I felt bad and I seen he couldn’t get back up. I said ‘No, this is not a work’. He wouldn’t come back and…I just wish him a speedy recovery and all of the best.”

The two-time Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl 50 MVP, NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, and 8-time Pro Bowler himself is dealing with a knee injury since late 2022. Surgery revealed that Miller had torn his ACL, forcing him out for the rest of the season.

As for Shane McMahon, starting rehab so soon after his injury, and a subsequent surgery are good signs of great healing. However, there is still no concrete timetable available for his return at this time.
