Jimmy Uso was arrested for driving in a drunken state on Monday night, in his home state of Pensacola, Florida. He was granted bail from the jail for a $500 bond, a few years later which came as a relief. But in the future, he will have to be presented in the court for further jurisdiction process. Plus, this is the third time that such a DUI arrest happened with him, leading to a tough situation for the WWE officials.
They are extremely strict when it comes to such unprofessional behaviors from the superstars. In the case of Jimmy Uso, it’s been repeatedly happening. Till now, no edict has been handed down on WWE’s part. As Ringside News previously reported, they did not have enough time to deal with the matter, right away. The plan is to handle this situation when this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown occurs for the final time inside ThunderDome.
Ex WWE Star Aleister Black Appears In AEW; Backstage Update On Debut
Fightful Select now reports that they could not get a comment from WWE on the matter. It was later reported that WWE Superstars were “happy” that WWE did not respond with their typical line through their website “Superstars are responsible for their own actions.” Such incidents happened a few times before and the feeling is that WWE will eventually get involved in the matter.
Decision around Jimmy Uso is still pending
The good thing is that Jimmy Uso is “well-liked” in the locker room, but his third DUI arrest raised a matter of concern among the superstars. It was also mentioned how he is in the middle of a main event storyline also featuring Hall of Famer Edge and Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It’s something that “we’ve all been waiting for,” according to one Superstar but then this arrest happened.
The report added that there is legit heat on Jimmy Uso from WWE officials as they are disappointed, legit. “Numerous talent, staff, and high-level WWE names” have expressed “unanimous concern” about Jimmy Uso “across the board.”
“Fightful has spoken to numerous talent, staff, and high level WWE names this week about their feelings on Uso, and there’s unanimous concern across the board for him personally.”
Only time will tell how WWE would want to deal with this whole situation. Superstars will be onboard for this week’s Smackdown in Tampa, Florida for one final time where the officials might decide something about Jimmy Uso’s future.
