Breaking: Dean Ambrose Returns As Jon Moxley To Attack Chris Jericho

Well, Jon Moxley arrived in style at the All Elite Wrestling promotion that kept him in the headlines since last Saturday. If that was not all, he spat out the fire by appearing on the Talk is Jericho Podcast against WWE. It was a CM Punk kind promo that took the internet by storm. In a segment of the interview, he blamed the WWE creative to lie to him leading to his WWE departure. You may catch the interview excerpts, here.

WWE had to keep Dean Ambrose out of action for a long time due to his elbow injury occurred in late 2017. More than a six months gap followed until he was able to make his return to the company. WWE’s creative process promised him to give a surprise return as a heel that never happened. He instead received a usual booking by becoming the tag partner of Seth Rollins.

This fact eats him up a lot to date. You may check the statements of Jon Moxley from the interview,

“I thought about maybe coming back on SmackDown and feuding with Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles or coming back as a heel…Anything but what I have been doing for the last couple of years. They had The Shield booked for this big show in Australia, so there’s no way I’m gonna be a heel anytime before then and basically it was like I’m just coming back as Seth’s partner, which I love tagging with Seth, you’ know great matches, but it’s more of the same. Basically, their idea for me coming back was as everyone expected, no shock nothing different, just good old Lunatic Fringe.”

Jon Moxley added that he had a conversation with Vince McMahon on the return. He was happy to come back during Summerslam and also started training with Joey Mercury. But he was not aware that WWE booked him part of Shield reunion in Australia and thus ruined his chance to become a villain. Also, Seth Rollins bringing him back with a promo ruined the surprise element,

“So they have this promo segment going on and I didn’t realize the way that they wrote this. I’m sitting behind the curtain waiting for that pop, it’s all going to be worth it, nine months, it’s all going to be worth it, then the way it’s written Seth goes ‘if you’re going to have a Scottish Psychopath in your corner then I’m gonna have a lunatic in mine’ so it muddled the pop into like four different reactions. It’s a small example of how they ruin everything.”

Jon Moxley fka Dean Ambrose may have returned the favor to the WWE when he lied to Vince McMahon for not signing up. He said he had a committed film assignment that will not allow him to continue with a WWE tenure. Originally, it was for his promo with the Jon Moxley character that received a tremendous appreciation from the fans. Later this led him to WWE’s rival brand, All Elite Wrestling.
