Vince McMahon is no more running things in the WWE starting from late July. Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan took over his corporate duties as the co-CEOs of the company while Triple H ascended to be the Chief Content Officer in the WWE to take care of TV perspectives. This big shift came due to the hush money scandal that alleged the former boss paid money to keep some of his former talents.
Vince McMahon was allegedly trying to keep his past affairs secret but those accusations are yet to be proven in court. The controversy brought a sudden end to the career of the professional wrestling tycoon who changed the industry, decades ago. He retired by posting the following on Twitter:
“At 77, time for me to retire.
Thank you, WWE Universe.
Then. Now. Forever. Together. #WWE #thankful”

Prior to announcing his retirement, Vince McMahon made a few appearances on RAW & SmackDown on random occasions. His last on-screen appearance came on the June 27 episode of RAW, where he introduced Legendary John Cena for his 20th-anniversary celebration. Since then, there’s been no trace of the former WWE CEO for all the right reasons but that appearance wasn’t the last for him on WWE TV.

Vince McMahon still expected to make appearances on WWE shows
Per recent reports, it seems like we might see Vince McMahon on WWE programming again next year. US Sun is reporting that WWE could be planning a WWE Hall of Fame induction for the evergreen Mr. McMahon, possibly during the WrestleMania 39 weekend. He won’t be wrestling ever again but on-screen appearances in a non-wrestling capacity can be expected,
“Vince may not be completely done with the WWE. There are discussions about how to pay tribute to his achievements of turning the small town wrestling biz into a global business venture.
Now at this moment in time, the suggestion of any kind of ‘celebration’ seems impossible and would spark potential backlash.
Obviously, Vince will not wrestle again, but having an invitation to WrestleMania could be a possibility.
One discussion is whether it is too soon for him to be honored at the WWE Hall Of Fame event, the night before WrestleMania. Automatically that honor would mean he would walk on stage in front of LA fans next April.”
Stephanie McMahon Once Threatened By Former WWE Superstar Chyna
Vince McMahon made headlines at the beginning of the 2022 summer after it was revealed that he secretly paid $3 million as a settlement to a departing employee. WWE’s board of executives brought the matter to the public and kept it under investigation. Afterward, it was discovered that McMahon actually paid $12 million in a hush money scandal.
