Another week and another challenged was made to Brock Lesnar by Dean Ambrose on RAW, which kicked off the show. But the beast accepting the challenge and delivering an F-5 would have been much better for the Lunatic Fringe. But his challenge was eventually heard by Stephanie McMahon and his night turned into a nightmare after Stephanie set up a huge fatal-5-way match for the Intercontinental title.
Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, Tyler Breeze and Kevin Owens were the other 4 opponents of the match. And as a final handicap to Ambrose, Roman Reigns was barred from ringside, and his interference would not only disqualify Ambrose but remove him from their WWE Fastlane Triple Threat Match altogether.
We must say WWE has finally given to the prizefighter Kevin Owens after being empty handed for two long months. (courtesy Wrestlezone.com)
The match started with all competitors being in the ring at the same time. Stardust and Breeze work over Dean Ambrose. Owens has paired off against Ziggler. Owens sends Ziggler over the announce table. Owens gets back in the ring and beats Ambrose down in the corner.
Stardust and Ambrose are battling in the middle of the ring. Ambrose hits a clothesline in the corner, followed by a running bulldog. Ambrose goes up top but gets cut off by Stardust and Breeze. Ambrose fights them off, but Ziggler runs the ropes and x-factors Ambrose off the top. Owens hits cannonballs on everyone but Breeze. Breeze super kicks Owens and then hits the beauty shot for a two count. Ambrose sets up dirty deeds, but Ziggler hits the zig zag as on Ambrose at the same time. Owens runs into the ring and hits the pop-up powerbomb on Breeze for the win.
