Drew McIntyre is one of the top WWE Superstars from the Raw roster, right now. Over the past decade, he carried the brand on his broad shoulders during the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic as he won the WWE Championship twice, during that phase. He is back on WWE television as a regular feature after a short break to get involved in storylines on the red brand.

It also appears Drew McIntyre is willing to explore a potential career in Bollywood. The former 2-time champion was in India for this week’s Superstar Spectacle event and he featured on several media events before performing on the show. While speaking with Hindustan Times, he was asked about potentially transitioning to Bollywood and he didn’t rule out the idea.

”I mean if the opportunity arises, I’m always going to explore it. I’m just hearing now, the commercials with John Abraham winning a bunch of awards. I never knew but they were just telling me now. It’s been winning a lot of awards,” Drew McIntyre stated.

“The result was incredible. And I just had the opportunity to work in a movie in Budapest recently, I can’t give too many details but keep your eyes out and it’ll be coming soon. And you never know what the future holds for Drew in Bollywood, but I’m open to everything.”

Drew McIntyre had commercial shoots for Sony Network in 2021

Drew McIntyre was speaking about the commercial shoots that he had with John Abraham during his India visit, a couple of years ago. After signing a new TV deal with the Sony Sports Network, the company sent him to India at that time to feature in those ads to promote WWE products on the Sony network and he fulfilled those duties.

During last night’s Superstar Spectacle 2023, Drew McIntyre was also in attendance and competed in a match. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated Indus Sher (Veer and Sanga) in a tag team match via DQ. Jinder Mahal interfered in the match and brought out The Scottish Warrior to make the save. Teaming with Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn, he defeated Jinder Mahal, Veer, and Sanga in the opening encounter of the Indian live event.
