Mandy Rose was residing on top of her game in the WWE as the reigning NXT Women’s Champion in late 2022. After holding the belt for over 400 days and with Toxic Attraction buddies by her side, there was barely anyone who could have thought of dethroning the dominant Women’s champion. But then in a flash, all of that success was wiped out as she was released by the company.
While WWE never offered any official statement regarding her release, Mandy Rose was reportedly let go due to her premium content put up on her private website. Her adult pictures and videos went viral on social media after those content got leaked. She did get heads-up that her content wasn’t okay but that didn’t mean that she expected a release, altogether.
Mandy Rose Admittedly “Felt Comfortable” In A “S*X Symbol Role” In WWE
Mandy Rose taken aback by WWE release
During an interview with Jeanette Settembre of the New York Post, Mandy Rose admitted that she was caught off guard when she was asked to drop the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez in a weekly episode where the match wasn’t even promoted. The very next day, she was released and it brought more surprises to her.
Mandy Rose said WWE told her the issue was that she was operating the third-party account and making a lot of money via a subscription service. It was added that nothing was told regarding the explicit images that were released for the subscribers,
“I wasn’t told about racy images. I wasn’t told about anything else. I was told about the subscription-based platform.”

WWE never showed problems with Mandy Rose’s racy photos
Moving on, the former Golden Goddess also mentioned how she posed naked with only NXT and NXT UK Women’s Championship belts after unifying those for the sake of the promotion. WWE never had problems with that photo but they complained about the FanTime content,
“What’s the definition of racy? The photo of me with two titles – I was completely naked underneath, that’s considered a racy photo, right?”
Mandy doesn’t understand problems with her FanTime content
Mandy Rose also wanted to know what the real problem was with handling a FanTime account. After all, it was all about upping her career in or outside the WWE,
“I am grateful and very humbled with everything I’ve done and made at the company, but in today’s day and age, there are so many other avenues and so many other marketing opportunities.
It’s like, why can’t I do both? At the end of the day, I’m the only one watching out for myself and my career. Everyone’s replaceable in our business – it’s true.”
FanTime platform made Mandy Rose millionaire
After her WWE release, Mandy Rose hasn’t shut down her platform but rather increased the rate of content that helped her to earn $1 million in one month on the FanTime platform, which is far more than she was making as a talent in WWE during her NXT tenure since 2021 summer. It’s pretty evident why she prefers to continue with this third-party platform, even though WWE isn’t happy about it.
