3. Alexa Bliss cashes in on Ronda Rousey at Money in the Bank 2018
Little Miss Bliss started the trend of an instant cash-in of women’s Money in the Bank contract which is being followed by her successors since then. She won the second edition of the women’s MITB ladder match and wasted no time in cashing in the briefcase, later that night. It was a brave attempt since she had to go through the super-protected Ronda Rousey in order to win the Raw Women’s Title.
Then Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax was on the verge of losing the belt to Rousey when Alexa Bliss interfered and hammered away at both of them, using the briefcase. After putting away Rousey, Bliss instructed the referee to start the match as she pinned Jax after a Twisted Bliss to begin her fifth and final run with the Raw Women’s Title. This also began the anticipated Bliss vs. Rousey feud for months to follow.
