WrestleMania 37 is still more than 4 months away, as per the WWE schedule but the rumor mill is already buzzing over the show. This is that particular event of the year over which WWE plans a long time ago. However, multiple plans and changes are reported for the event, every week and the tradition continues to follow.
One plan which has been reported since the summer of 2020 is that the final encounter between WWE Champion Randy Orton and Edge could go down at WrestleMania 37. The plan isn’t obviously confirmed 100%, right now, as WWE officials are still discussing other options for Edge who is supposedly waiting to make his return in the upcoming months.

It was back in July when WWE had sketched plans of having a third match between the former WWE Champion Randy Orton and Edge. The bout was initially scheduled to take place at SummerSlam 2020, but things got delayed due to Edge suffering a triceps injury in “The Greatest Match Ever” at WWE Backlash.

Last month, some reports claimed that WWE now wants to have Orton and Edge meet for their final clash at WrestleMania 37. This week, WrestleVotes is reporting Orton vs. Edge has been a long-term plan, always. But now Edge vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt has been “discussed a great deal for the show.”
“WrestleMania update: Source states that while Edge vs Randy Orton has been the long-standing plan, and still is at the moment, the idea of Edge vs The Fiend has been discussed a great deal for the show,” informed the source.

The Rated-R Superstar is currently out of action while recovering from the triceps injury. He’s expected to return at the beginning of 2021 that is when the Road to WrestleMania 37 kicks off.
The two have crossed paths a few times over the years with Wyatt appearing on WWE Network’s The Edge and Christian Show. In 2016, Edge returned to SmackDown to host “The Cutting Edge” with Wyatt and the rest of SmackDown’s Survivor Series team.
WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to go down on March 28, 2021. But there have reportedly been some internal discussions on possibly moving the show to April 11 or April 18 as the goal for WWE is to bring fans in attendance despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea is to move the date a few weeks back so that they could achieve this goal.
As for Edge and Bray Wyatt, the two have crossed paths a few times over the past few years. Wyatt appeared on WWE Network’s The Edge and Christian Show while in 2016, Edge returned to SmackDown to host “The Cutting Edge” with Wyatt and the rest of the Survivor Series team of the SmackDown brand.
