This is the reason why the rumor of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin coming out of retirement after 19 years have been spread in recent times. Now another huge rumor is going on and that’s Vince McMahon is returning to the ring.
The news was first noted by Brad Sheperd that the WWE Chairman is being considered for a possible in-ring return at the Show of Shows, his year,
“A source in WWE told me today that 76-year-old CEO Vince McMahon is CONSIDERING getting back in the ring for WrestleMania 38.
It is absolutely not official, just something currently on the table. Ultimately, it will be up to Vince himself.
I am also told there are people around Vince in WWE looking to talk him out of doing this.”
Then on this past week’s episode of SmackDown, WWE announced that Vince will appear on The Pat McAfee Show, this coming Thursday for an interview. According to Shepard, SmackDown Commentator Pat McAfee is expected to be involved in a WrestleMania 38 feud with Vince.

POST Wrestling also added that WWE is expected to kick off a ‘Mania angle during this upcoming appearance. It was noted that irrespective of the storyline process, Vince in a match or McAfee in a match, or both, it will be announced as an official match at Wrestlemania 38.

In more news to the situation, Ringside News also reported that McAfee is scheduled to be involved in some sort of WrestleMania 38 feud. The source didn’t definitely name Vince to be his opponent but that appears to be the case after the arrival of the follow-up reports.
Recent reports noted that WWE is focused to stack things up for Night One and Night Two of WrestleMania 38, and that includes celebrity involvement. This is why social media star Logan Paul will be teaming up with The Miz to take on Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio while Jackass star Johnny Knoxville is being speculated to challenge WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn with the title hanging in the balance.
