The Road to WrestleMania 39 will kick off through the Royal Rumble premium live event in January and that’s the reported timespan when the marquee match planning will be finalized. Those will accordingly be reflected on WWE TV, as well. Plans around top superstars will gradually begin to unfold on TV to culminate in some top matches for the April show scheduled from the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
WWE has been nurturing a lot of options as they are all set to hit the Road to WrestleMania 39, down the road. Reports suggest that the card is getting jotted down internally. Brock Lesnar is obviously one of the top stars to be involved in the show and current reports suggest that he is likely to receive a big match on any of the two nights of the Show of Shows.
WWE decided Brock Lesnar’s Wrestlemania opponent
According to the updates from Wrestling News, WWE has decided upon Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 39 opponent and unlike many thinking that it would be Bobby Lashley, the company is reportedly planning to pit The Beast Incarnate against GUNTHER. This is one of the internally listed matches for the extravaganza as per the updates from the source,
“After asking someone who is familiar with the creative plans, WrestlingNews.co was told that Lesnar vs. Gunther is one of the matches listed internally for the show. Gunther has talked about wanting the match because he feels that a match with Lesnar would present the biggest possible challenge for him.”
A fresh opponent is possibly booked for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39
A Brock Lesnar vs. Fka WALTER match was a dream match for the WWE Universe that may haven’t happened if Vince McMahon was still in charge. But with Triple H taking things over, he’s definitely up for trying new and fresh options rather than booking repetitive matches at WrestleMania 39. That being said, GUNTHER is expected to make a thunderous debut at the biggest PLE of the year. Now we’ll have to wait and watch how the collision between these two heavyweights will be going down.
GUNTHER recently stated in an interview with WMBD TV, about the possibility of facing the former WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 39,
“If I had to pin it down to one name, I’d say it’s Brock Lesnar at the moment. When I was young and watching WWE, I enjoyed watching his matches.
Later on, when I progressed in my career, I was able to watch wrestling and analyze how people work. He’s always been somebody I was impressed with. He’s one of the best to ever do it.
I think that’s the biggest possible challenge for me at the moment.”
Ringside News exclusively reported that The Rock is a virtual lock for WrestleMania. We also exclusively reported that Vince McMahon gave his blessing to John Cena to do as much with WWE as he can, despite Mr. McMahon’s retirement. It seems that along with rumors of another Steve Austin match at Mania that the show of shows is shaping up to be a massive one for Triple H’s first chance to book the yearly extravaganza.
In the latest, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have been involved in a feud that is likely to continue in the early part of 2023. The two squared off in a match at Crown Jewel 2022 and that match had a controversial finish. But Lesnar is expected to finish up his feud with Bobby Lashley at Royal Rumble 2023 to move on to GUNTHER in time for WrestleMania 39.
