Bayley recently joined Ariel Helwani in an interview for BT Sport to discuss her decade-long run in the WWE and whether her former bestie in WWE, Sasha Banks will return to the WWE or not. Speaking on the show, Bayley name-dropped WWE Hall of Famer Lita and Sasha Banks as dream opponents for WrestleMania 39. It makes sense to have Lita as an opponent since the veteran is already in a feud with her,
“My perfect scenario in all of WWE (history), WrestleMania is like me vs. Lita or me vs. Sasha.
“Right now, if I could pick someone/pick something, it’s Damage CTRL in a big match, you know? I think that would be very special to me.
“To share the ring with them, too, at WrestleMania, even if that were the end of it, if that was our last match together, that would make me so proud and so happy.”

Lita and Trish Stratus returned to the WWE on the Road to WrestleMania 39
Sasha Banks is out of the WWE for almost a year and there’s no way that she’s coming back to the WWE around WrestleMania 39. Lita, on the other hand, made a comeback to the WWE on the February 6 edition of WWE Raw, helping Becky Lynch to defeat Bayley in a steel cage match. This started the beef between the two and time will tell whether Lita and Bayley will indeed have a face-off at the Show of Shows.

As seen in the latest edition of Raw, Lita and Becky Lynch had teamed up to challenge Damage CTRL for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Trish Stratus made her return during this match allowing Lita and Lynch to pick up the win and become the new champions. Bayley tried to distract the challengers but Trish neutralized the scene in an effective way. Due to this, rumors also suggest that Trish would also be involved in WrestleMania 39 in some capacity.
