Match 4 – WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair defeated Asuka to retain

It was one of the most predictable matches of tonight and of the entire show of WrestleMania 39. When they decided to book a match between Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair for The Smackdown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39, the picture for this match became pretty clear.

WWE WrestleMania 39 Night 2 Results & Ratings Part 2

Let us make ourselves a bit more clearer. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair had been a dream match that fans were looking forward for a long time. The match was even booked last year but Rhea picked up and injury just before the match and it became a blessing in disguise for her. If the match took place, Rhea would surely have to job and she would have completely lost the momentum she got for winning the Royal Rumble match.

Now let us get to the point, it was pretty clear that WWE wanted to lift Rhea as the next top star of the promotion. They also did not want Bianca to drop her title and she was not in a state to lift someone new (according to them of course). She is invincible at this situation. This is why they did not book this match and they went for  Asuka and repackaged her as her Japanese counterpart where she was famously known as Kana.

They thought it would have been a great lift for Bianca. Just what question here, how much lift and push Bianca needs more? She participated in only three WrestleMania Matches and she won all of them. Needless to say all of them were Championship matches. She has also won a Royal Rumble match last year she won the Elimination Chamber match. And her lift is still not over?

This is the exact reason why they brought Asuka’s kana persona to WWE. If they wanted to book just another match with Bianca winning, they would have had the normal self of Asuka wrestle. But no, Bianca needs more lift. And about the match, it was good, but nothing exceptional.

Match 5 – Snoop Dogg defeated The Miz

And where do we start about this segment? This might go down as the biggest embarrassment in WWE history. Even after hundreds of years, people will talk to each other about this segment like, “Are you ready for WrestleMania 162? Sure, just hope no such happens like that incident from WrestleMania 39.”

Let us talk about the incident in a little brief. The Miz and Snoop Dogg were seen standing inside the ring. After they announced the official attendance for tonight’s show, it was seeming like someone new is going to challenge Miz like Pat McAfee yesterday against the former two times WWE champion.

So who would it be, is it going to be the returning Matt Cardona aka Zack Ryder? Or Jay White? Or Bray Wyatt? Or maybe the big one, CM Punk? Surprise, surprise! It was Shane McMahon! Don’t you feel excited? The best high flyer in wrestling history who came out to be the best athlete of men’s Royal Rumble match of 2022 is back!

And he is back for more spotlights. He is back to challenge The Miz on the grandest stage of them all. And the match is on. But guess what, Shane got injured as soon as the match started. We are not blaming Shane for getting injured, but quite obviously he was not in shape. He really did not had to come out for this spotlight.

We already know what he did on last years men’s Royal Rumble match. He tried to do the same this year on WrestleMania 39 as well. Snoop Dogg had to intervene. He entered the ring and replaced Shane. He quickly pinned Miz with the People’s Elbow. Snoop Dogg actually saved the moment, and kudos to the Miz too for selling everything so perfectly.
