Logan Paul has already established himself as a big attraction on WWE programming and he is expected to return in time for Wrestlemania 39. Prior to his WWE career, he made a name for himself as a YouTuber as well as a professional boxer. Then his WWE stint made him a professional wrestler as well starting with WrestleMania 38.
Since the 2022 April PPV event, Logan went on to have three solid matches in 2022. His match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title earned the WWE Universe’s respect as he was touted to be one of the breakout stars of this year and it’s safe to say that he will continue delivering marquee matches.
Following Crown Jewel, rumors started spreading that Logan was going to face John Cena at Wrestlemania 39 in April. Now it seems that those plans are still intact. According to WrestlingNews.co, John Cena vs. Logan Paul is indeed scheduled to happen at The Show Of Shows, down the road. There’s no update on who WWE is looking forward to building up the match.

It’s worth noting that Logan previously stated on his ImPAULsive podcast that he wanted a match with Cena at Wrestlemania 39 and he even pitched the idea to Triple H,
“After Crown Jewel, John Cena posted me on his Instagram and then I saw an article saying he’s looking for an opponent at WrestleMania. I favorited it, responded with the eyes. Truthfully, I think me vs. John Cena would break the internet. I texted Triple H right away, ‘Do you want to break the internet again?’ That’s a dream match. WrestleMania, in LA, on my birthday.”

John Cena’s Wrestlemania status still uncertaint
There’s no confirmed update on whether John Cena will feature on the Wrestlemania 39 match card but he did return to action on the December 30 edition of Smackdown by teaming up with Kevin Owens to defeat the team of Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn in a tag team match.
Previously, there were rumors that some sort of Wrestlemania 39 angle featuring Cena could be filmed at the show but that wasn’t the case. We have to wait and see for the time being when the Cenation Leader would be back, again to start builds for his rumored ‘Mania match.
