WrestleMania 39 will be going Hollywood, this year while keeping the two-night tradition intact for four straight years in a row. As always, the speculations were that several WWE Legends will be back to compete in this one-of-a-kind event but that’s mostly not the case.
Per the earlier reports from Ringside News, WWE decided on most of their WrestleMania 39 card in January. The head of the creative team, Triple H has decided on the match placements, but he might haven’t passed on the information to the rest of the creative team yet.
Part-timers like Goldberg, The Rock, or Stone Cold Steve Austin won’t be seen performing at the Show of Shows despite WWE previously having arrangements to insert them into the card. Both turned down the pitched matches, showing their own reasons.

That being said, WWE Hall of Famer Edge and John Cena are the two only names who would be seen in action at Wrestlemania 39. However, both their matches are yet to be officially declared. A celebrity in Logan Paul will also be returning to the WWE on this grand occasion to compete against Seth Rollins.
In more rumored matches, the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch and Lita are likely to defend against the team of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. The Intercontinental Title should also be on the line with Gunther possibly defending his title against Drew McIntyre as teased on the February 24 episode of Smackdown.
