Wrestlemania 39 is the biggest WWE premium live event waiting for the WWE Universe which could also be the last one under McMahon Triple H-regime given that WWE is on the verge of getting sold within a few weeks. The company is hell-bent on putting up a grand edition before moving on to the next chapter and it’s safe to assume that there will be a few surprises on the card to entertain the fans.
A celebrity appearance will be happening in the form of Bad Bunny at Wrestlemania 39. Last month, WWE announced the return of the Backlash show sans the Wrestlemania term for next month where Bad Bunny will be the host. The 2023 edition of the premium live event is set from Bunny’s hometown of Puerto Rico on May 6th.

Wrestlemania 39: Names Revealed For Possible Surprise Appearances At WWE PLE
Wrestlemania 39 storyline could continue targeting Backlash in May
The plan calls for him to get involved in a physical capacity and continue that stint to get culminated at the first post-Wrestlemania 39 PLE in May,
“On March 14, Bad Bunny, Damian Priest and Jamie Noble went to a training facility in Los Angeles to work things out. I can’t confirm if it’s for WrestleMania or Backlash, but I think it’s WrestleMania. There was a training session involving the three of them. I don’t know if that means Priest is directly involved, or what physicality Bad Bunny is doing, but he’s training for physicality.”
If Bunny does return at Wrestlemania 39 then it would be his first WWE appearance after more than a year. Before this, he wrestled two matches in WWE so far. Bunny teamed up with Damian Priest to win a tag team match at WrestleMania 37. He then entered the Men’s Royal Rumble 2022 match to get eliminated by the winner Brock Lesnar.
The current assumption is that Bunny could be involved in an angle with Damian Priest at Wrestlemania 39 since Priest is also a WWE Superstar billed from Puerto Rico. Possibly the interaction could set up a match between the two on May 6 for Backlash.
