WrestleMania 39 is less than a month away and it’s going to bring a fresh experience for the WWE Universe. For the first time ever, the Showcase of Immortals will be booked by “The Game” Triple H. Since Vince McMahon stepped down from his earlier duties, last year, his son-in-law took over the charges of being the Chief Content Officer. McMahon Sr. later returned to the company but strictly in the corporate position.
That being said, Triple H has already lived up to the hype by bringing fresh talents into the context. Under his regime, WWE is also planning a Draft after WrestleMania 39, despite the current happening of Raw and SmackDown wrestlers appearing on both the brands. Vince McMahon was already booking them on both shows and Triple H kept the trend intact.
Wrestlemania 39: WWE’s Latest Plan About Night One Main Event Match
World Title split coming after Wrestlemania 39
According to the reports of Wrestlingnews.co, during the WWE Draft, the top two world titles will finally be split. The undisputed WWE Universal Championship will be divided into the WWE Title and the Universal Title, just like in older days with both Raw and Smackdown brands having a separate Men’s World Champion unlike Roman Reigns’ undisputed title reign prior to WrestleMania 39.
Roman Reigns To Wrestle One More Match Before WWE Wrestlemania 39
Roman Reigns still planned to retain his titles against Cody Rhodes
Xero News added to the news that the current plan calls for Roman Reigns to keep one of his Titles intact during this upcoming Draft, and drop the other one. This does mean that proving all the speculations wrong, Roman is currently scheduled to retain the titles. Cody Rhodes won the Men’s Royal Rumble match and confirmed his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 39 but he’s likely to come up short.
Xero News also provided the following update regarding the Draft mentioning that the shakeup process will return following WrestleMania 39. Some of the WWE officials may also want to wait until the May premium live event before bringing back the Draft,
“Draft will be either a week or two after WrestleMania. However, some want to wait until after Backlash to get rematches out the way.”
