The Night One of Wrestlemania 39 is in the history books which entertained the fans to the fullest under the creative leadership of Triple H. For the first time, Vince McMahon wasn’t in charge of the creative team but he was present in the backstage area to run his own office.
In the main event of Wrestlemania 39 Night One, Kevin Owen and Sami Zayn defeated The Usos to become the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. In another title change of the night, the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match winner defeated Charlotte Flair to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion.
Following the conclusion of Wrestlemania 39 Saturday night, WWFOldSchool offered some of the interesting facts and historic moments that went down on the show which are given below:
– John Cena competed in his first match at WrestleMania since 2020 which also marked his third straight loss at the biggest event of the year. His last win at WrestleMania was at WrestleMania 33 in 2017 where he and his then-fiancée Nikki Bella defeated The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match. Since that match, he has lost at WrestleMania 34 (2018) against The Undertaker, WrestleMania 36 against Bray Wyatt (2020), and then last night at WrestleMania 39 (2023) against United States Champion Austin Theory.
Wrestlemania 39: Spoilers Around Former WWE Champion’s Involvement On Night Two
– Last night also marked Logan Paul’s 5th WWE match and his 3rd straight loss. He lost at Crown Jewel against Roman Reigns, failed at winning Royal Rumble, and then came up short against Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 39.
– Interestingly, every WrestleMania match that Charlotte Flair has been in, to date has been a Title match starting from back at Wrestlemania 32 in 2016.

Multiple stats revealed from Wrestlemania 39 Night One Main Event
– The Usos’ Tag Team Title reign ended at 622 days at the hands of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn which was the longest Tag Team Championship reign in the history of WWF/E.
– Wrestlemania 39 Night One was the first time that a Tag Team Title was defended in the main event of the Show of Shows. The only other Tag Team Match that main evented WrestleMania was the very first WrestleMania in 1985 (Hulk Hogan & Mr. T defeated Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff). But in that match, no titles were on the line.
– The other history-making moment from Wrestlemania 39 Night One main event was when Sami Zayn kicked out of The Usos’ finishing move: 1D (a homage to The Dudley Boyz). No one else had kicked out of that move, until last night.
