WWE is over with carrying us through the Night One of Wrestlemania 39 and now it’s time to culminate in the event via Night Two. The most anticipated match of the night, and perhaps this year will take place on this night where the lineup stands: Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
This may not have been the lineup for Wrestlemania 39 main event as WWE always wanted to do The Rock vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the marquee spotlight since the Show of Shows will be happening in his home-turf of Hollywood. While the match has been canceled, there’s still some apparent room to make it happen in due course.
WWE Smackdown: Drew McIntyre’s Future To Be Decided Through “A Number Of Factors”
To hype the fans up for Wrestlemania 39, The Rock posted a video on Twitter, where he addressed his Bloodline family members. The WWE legend threw a ton of praise to his family members, Reigns, Usos and Solo. To wrap up the video, The Great One also teased that he may just decide to see Roman in person.
The Rock showered praise on The Bloodline ahead of Wrestlemania 39 Night Two
Below is what the potential Wrestlemania 39 returnee had to offer on Twitter,
“I gotta tell you, I’m so excited for not only all the matches, but, especially the main event with my cousin Roman Reigns, the Universal Champion. My entire family, the entire Bloodline – Jey, Jimmy, Solo, we’re so proud of you guys. Kick a$$, electrify SoFi Stadium.
Do what you do, it’s in our blood. Who knows? Maybe, just maybe down the road, I’ll see you in person. I’ll just leave it at that.”
By any means, this doesn’t mean that The Rock vs. Roman Reigns confrontation is happening at Wrestlemania 39. However, Rock still remains a betting favorite to make an appearance at the Show of Shows given it emanates from Hollywood. A couple of months ago, a report also claimed that the veteran name is also open to doing this match at WrestleMania 40.
