The Rock’s Wrestlemania 39 plans will stay intact no matter what
The Wrestling Observer shed light on this matter by stating that Vince McMahon recently returning to WWE’s Board of Directors won’t at all affect Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s WrestleMania 39 plans. But in order to see that happen WWE has to have a plan regarding the top superstars including The Great One or even John Cena.
“The basic thing is that Dwayne Johnson is going to do what he has the time to do. If he has time, the Vince stuff is going to have no impact whatsoever. He’s going to do it if he feels he can do it well and he has time to train for it. Which he may not because of the XFL,” WON offered on the future of Wrestlemania 39.
“The Vince thing will have no impact. A sale to Saudi Arabia is a different story but that’s not gonna happen before WrestleMania anyway most likely. Vince coming back, is it going to affect John Cena? Is it going to affect The Rock? No, they’re going to do whatever they were going to do before.”
There are some wild speculations on the internet about possibly seeing The Rock entering the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant later this month. He would have to win the match in order to set up the rumored title match at WrestleMania 39. As of this writing, he’s the second favorite to win the match, per the betting odds after Cody Rhodes. Sami Zayn stands third on the list.
