Charlotte Flair made an incredible record while heading into Wrestlemania 39 as the SmackDown Women’s Champion. This ensured that each of her matches on this grandest stage to date would be title encounters. Ultimately, she lost the belt to Rhea Ripley during the Night One edition on Saturday.

It was a hard-hitting encounter where the two competitors took each other to their limit before The Nightmare prevailed over The Queen. Now that the latter is off her championship belt, she could be heading into a hiatus from the WWE.

Sean Sapp dropped a note behind Fightful’s paywall. About the situation by saying that she is physically fine after her stiff contest against Rhea Ripley. However, she is also hopeful for a break from WWE for different reasons,

“Those that we spoke to said Charlotte Flair was fine after a physical match on Saturday. Several were asking about Charlotte’s future in wrestling after her loss to Rhea Ripley. Charlotte Flair told Fightful this past week that she was hoping to break.”

Charlotte entering a different industry after Wrestlemania 39?

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also spoke briefly on Charlotte Flair’s cut appearance at WrestleMania 39. He informed that Flair was heard telling people that she was going to enter the world of professional bodybuilding which could be the reason behind the time-off from WWE,

“Charlotte Flair is down in weight, you know, she’s talked about doing a bodybuilding contest, but she’s talked about doing a bodybuilding contest this summer, and doing the diet and everything. I can’t tell you how much weight she’s lost, but it was quite noticeable.”

A lot of fans noticed that Charlotte Flair was looking more than ripped at Wrestlemania 39 and we can now assume the reason behind the same. Meanwhile, Meltzer also noted that he has been told by other wrestlers training for bodybuilding competitions that it is “not fun.”

The bumps in this business hurt even more because one doesn’t have cushions to protect her. Charlotte Flair had no issues in performing at WrestleMania 39 but she could physically be in a different state after coming back from the hiatus if vying for a spot in the bodybuilding competition.
